Department establishment development

Historically form ( 1926 - 2002 )

year Event
1926 Establishment of the first traffic department which was related to the commander of the Arab army .
1943 Traffic department dispatched to the metropolitan police then to the civil transport commotion .
1946 Separated & called license & traffic department .
1950 -1954 Create number of branches in Jerusalem ,Nablus ,Hebron & Irbid .
1956 Public Security forces were separated from the army & dispatched to the Ministry of interior .
1968 License department was separated from traffic department .
1976 -1982 Create branches for the department in ( Salt, Zarqa, Aqaba, Ma'an ,Kerak, Jerash, Tafeela ,Mafraq , Amman customs section ) .
1984 - 2002 Create Licensing sections in all licensing sections in all Kingdom provinces .
2001 - 2002 Complete work in all licensing sections mechanically .
