It is a transaction through which vehicles are granted permission and the legal right to enter Jordan (Granting it number plates and ownership licenses in private capacity, and the ensuing rights and obligations) and to drive on the roads after confirming its technical and legal validity and entering its information, data and specifications on the vehicle database at the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations and instructions

If the gross weight of the vehicle is more than 5000 kg, provided that: The recipient of the service should be one of the owners of industries to be used for purposes related to their factories or industry and in distributing their products, provided that the following documents are brought:-
Commercial register + commercial name issued, provided that the capital in the commercial register is not less than (10000) JDs.
A valid profession license. A valid Chamber of Industry subscription certificate
Or that the recipient of the service is one of the farmers and owners of farms to use it on their farms and to serve their agricultural purposes, provided that the following documents are brought:- •
- A letter from the Ministry of Agriculture to register a vehicle in private in their names and a disclosure report from the Ministry of Agriculture mentioning the numbers of livestock, or that the recipient of the service is one of the contractors classified in the higher category with the competent authorities for use in the works and purposes directly related to their undertakings, provided that the following documents are brought:-
- Commercial register + trade name, provided that the capital in the commercial register is not less than (10000) JDs.
- A contractor classification certificate from the Ministry of Public Works, provided that the company is classified in the higher categories (up to the sixth category).
- A valid professions license, or that the recipient of the service is one of the companies and institutions whose business requires the use of this type of vehicle for the purposes of transporting and distributing their goods and products or for any other purpose related to their business, provided that the following documents are brought:
- Commercial register + commercial name issued, provided that the capital in the commercial register is not less than (10000) jds.
- A valid subscription certificate in the Chamber of Commerce.
A valid occupational license.
If the gross weight of the vehicle is less than 5000 kg, provided that the person concerned is of Jordanian nationality and is registered in private

A vehicle insurance contract from one of the companies licensed for insurance business
Vehicle owner personal information form.
Commercial registration and new trade name.
