It is a transaction through which vehicles are granted permission and the legal right to enter Jordan (and grant them number plates and public acquisition licenses, and the ensuing rights and obligations) and to drive on the roads after confirming its technical and legal validity and entering its information, data and specifications on the vehicle database at the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations and instructions

Pre-approval from the authority to which the taxi office is affiliated (Public Transport Regulatory Authority or Amman Municipality)
The age of the vehicle to be operated must be from the model year of operation or the year before or after it, and the engine capacity is not less than (1600) cc.

A customs declaration document for the vehicle.
Joint Inspection Form (Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department and Jordanian Customs).
The technical examination form signed and stamped by the licensing committee and stamped by the civil defense representative. The technical examination is transmitted electronically
Commercial registration document and trade name according to the website
ID of the owner or the legal representative according to the commercial register.
A financial receipt for parking fees for taxi offices within the jurisdiction of the Amman Municipality.
A receipt for the use of an annual number (200) JDs for taxi offices within the jurisdiction of the Amman Municipality.
A copy of the direction card of the old vehicle
A financial receipt from the Transport Regulatory Authority as annual fees.
A profession license issued by the Greater Amman Municipality or the municipality to which the office belongs.
A report (examination and calibration) of the fare meter indicating its validity and approved by the Jordanian Standards and Metrology Organization.
Amman Municipality letter that includes the payment of an annual fee
The write-off form & cover books and a stamped customs declaration for the vehicle that has been written off.

A letter of approval from the Land Transport Sector Authority or the Amman Municipality
Vehicle inspection by the Technical Inspection Committee
Stamping the technical examination form from the civil defense representative
Vehicle insurance The insurance contract is transferred electronically
Submit the required form and documents to the receptionist
Checking the required documents, entering data, paying fees, issuing the license and issuing a plate issuance letter.

Land Transport Sector Authority: Issuance of a letter indicating the approval to register the vehicle in the public domain and a financial receipt in the amount of (50) JDs as annual fees
Jordan Customs.: Issuing the customs declaration document after inspecting the vehicle technically (in partnership with the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department) and issuing a financial receipt after collecting the calculated customs duties
Insurance companies: Issuance of an insurance contract for the vehicle, provided that the period of its license is covered
Civil Defense: Ensure public safety tools (fire extinguisher + reflectors)
Ministry of Industry and Trade / Companies Control Department: Issuance of a commercial registration certificate and a commercial name registration certificate
Greater Amman Municipality: Issuance of a letter indicating the approval of the vehicle’s public registration and the collection of parking fees
Jordan Institution for Standardization and Metrology: Issuing a report approving (examination and calibration) of the fare meter indicating its validity according to the applicable laws, regulations and instructions.
