Replacing foreign driving licenses with Jordanian driving licenses for Jordanians and non-Jordanians

Obtaining a Jordanian driving license by directly replacing the foreign license that the applicant has with a Jordanian driving license without undergoing a theoretical or practical examination.

متطلبات الخدمة:
To be at least 18 years old.
Possession of a valid foreign driving license.
Bring an approval letter from His Excellency the Minister of Interior to be exempted from the technical examination (theoretical or practical) or both.
الوثائق المطلوبة:
A letter of approval for the replacement from His Excellency the Minister of Interior.
A recent color photograph (4 x 6).
A valid civil status ID
Proof of military service for Jordanian males born in 1989 AD or above
A valid annual residence permit for those covered by the residence law.
Security approval from the General Intelligence for the restricted nationalities.
A translation of the foreign license if it is in a language other than Arabic or English.
The original foreign license, provided that it is valid.

Ministry of the Interior review Traffic Safety Department: 1-3 Days
Refer the Public Service Office and obtain a service submission form.: 1 Minutes
Submit the form. After filling it out with the documents to the public service employee for audit purposes.: 2 Minutes
Refer to the doctor approved in the department (medical examination).: 1 Minutes
Registry Review Section adopt the foreign driving license and signed by the counter officer for the purposes of replacement.: 5 Minutes
employee review Comprehensive review of the transaction and the issuance of a Jordanian driving license after paying the prescribed legal fees.: 5 Minutes
